Three years ago I was employed by a multi billion dollar entertainment company which had consultants from The Goetzman Group. One of the consultants who worked with me always seemed so at peace and happy while the rest of us were grumpy and buried under office politics, stress and long non-compensated hours. Her story touched me because while she was working with The Goetzman Group she had a flexible work schedule which aided her in maintaining her dreams outside the office (there is life outside of the office?). This is exactly what I had been seeking, I was a first time mom and never had a chance to come home before my son would fall asleep. I was at a crossroad. I needed to work but needed the flexibility too. Now I have it and can’t be happier. I still have a career and can be a “soccer mom” too. Being with Goetzman for 3 years introduced me to many Fortune 500 firms, as well as various industries. I also met great people and I am now that happy person “buzzing” around the office.
